Bhagyanag Gas Limited, a joint venture of GAIL (India) Limited,a nd HPCL was incorporated in August 2003 as a city gas distribution company for distribution and marketing of CNG and distribution of piped natural gas (PNG) to domestic, comercial and industrial sectors in Andhra Pradesh. The first commercial launch of CNG kicked off on August 22, 2005 at Vijayawada.
