The activities of the Research Council of Norway are based on our vision that research expands the boundaries of what we know, understand and can achieve. The Research Council is divided into four divisions: Science, Strategic Priorities, Innovation and Administration. The Executive Board, which is formally appointed by the King in Council of State, is the Research Council's highest authority.
