ZeroMission was founded in 2006 by four partners at Sustainability Agency U & We. This happened in connection with the fact that one of the partner's daughters, who read environmental science, was to fly to Inverness in Scotland and wanted to climate-compensate his flight. In the search for possible approaches, she found the Plan Vivo Foundation in Edinburgh.
