Afcons Infrastructure Limited
Engineering and Construction - marine.

DESCRIPTION

AFCONS ventured into marine construction in 1963. It has successfully constructed over 150 challenging marine structures across the Indian coastline.

Today, AFCONS boasts of specialising in a wide spectrum of marine construction like: Jetties, Wet Basins, Dry Docks,  Breakwater, Slipways, Wharves, Intake/Outfalls.

For all marine constructions, floating barges and pontoons are required. AFCONS has several conventional barges of varying capacities, many of which have been designed and built indigenously by AFCONS. We have also designed and fabricated special barges which empower us with the flexibility to adapt to the nature of the project.

AFCONS has also executed general civil engineering works, including industrial buildings such as workshop, dry dock complexes, cooling water pump houses, shopping malls for Piramal, now popularly known as "CROSSROADS", and the work of turbine buildings, tunnels/trenches, D.M. Plants and associated civil works for Nuclear Power Corporation.

Our list of Industrial Structures also includes civil works for Reliance for their Jamnagar Refinery Complex which included industrial building, Intake Channel, Culvert, Compound Wall, Effluent Treatment and Outfall.

AFCONS has made a significant contribution in building LNG Infrastructure in India. AFCONS is proud to have built four LNG Storage Tanks in India. This remarkable feat demonstrates AFCONS’ ability to handle complex projects demanding technological excellence and execution capabilities. These LNG tanks are part of LNG Terminals at Dahej in Gujarat & Kochi in Kerala. AFCONS has built two 1,40,000 cum capacity LNG Tanks, 80 m dia and 40 m height for Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Industries Co., Japan for LNG Petronet project at Dahej and recently completed two more tanks of 1,55,000 cum capacity for the same client at Kochi.
