DETAIL DESCRIPTION

Top Mounted Level Switches

The Float / Displacer (attached to a load spring) looses weight due to buoyancy, thus moves up and down with Rise / Fall of liquid level. Rise in liquid level moves float upwards which carries a Magnetic Sleeve attached to a connecting link upwards inside process seal pipe. When this Magnetic sleeve enters Permanent Magnet’s flux zone magnet swings towards seal pipe. This movement of magnet Actuates an SPDT (NO-COM-NC) microswitch and vice-a-versa action on liquid level falls.

External Cage Level Switches

The Float / Displacer (attached to a load spring) looses weight due to buoyancy, thus moves up and down with Rise / Fall of liquid level. Rise in liquid level moves float upwards which carries a Magnetic Sleeve attached to a connecting link upwards inside process seal pipe. When this Magnetic sleeve enters Permanent Magnet’s flux zone magnet swings towards seal pipe. This movement of magnet Actuates an SPDT (NO-COM-NC) microswitch and vice-a-versa action on liquid level falls.

Side Mounted Level Switches

The Float looses weight due to buoyancy, thus moves up and down with Rise / Fall of liquid level. The Float extension encloses a bar magnet which retards another bar magnet inside the housing. This movement of the magnet actuates a Microswitch (SPDT, NO-COM-NC) and vice-versa action on falling liquid level. Process Connection flange is an SS-316 or SS-304.

Mini Side Mounted Level Switches

The Float looses weight due to buoyancy, thus moves up and down with Rise / Fall of liquid level. The Float extension encloses a bar magnet which actuates a Reed Switch (SPST) and vice-versa action on Rising/Falling liquid level. Contacts are made with rise in level and broken with fall, when installed in the orientation as shown in the picture. This logic can be changed by installing the switch upside-down. Standard Process Connection is screwed ¼"BSPM accompanied with a hex. locknut and PTFE washer. Installation will be internally on tank wall. Alternatively a plate flange can be provided for external installation, minimum 1½" size.
