This state-owned firm has emerged as a frontline engineering, consultancy and contracting organization and from concept to commissioning including turnkey execution, MECON has been offering a complete range of services required for the setting up of Project.

MECON has significantly contributed towards community development since the 1960s through its welfare activities in the Indian rural landscape. In the year 1976, Community Development Committee was formed to fulfill the objectives of CSR. The firm is conducting a number of activities in the field of education, public health, vocational training, safe drinking water, and activities for upliftment of the disabled, SCs, STs, OBCs, and minorities.
