North Sea Cables Norge AS was established in Norway in 1989 as a subsidiary of the Scottish North Sea Cables ltd.The first years were sales primarily based on surplus cable, but from 1994 NSC got all offshore cable manufactured by Delta Crompton Cables ltd. Sales picked up, and in 1995 the firm got a contract with Phillips Petroleum for delivery of all instrument cable to Ekofisk II project.
