Texas Iron Works (TIW) was incorporated in 1917 and started its journey as a general oilfield repair facility. Today, the company is the leader in completion solutions. It offers a complete range of Liner Hanger Systems, Expandable Liner Systems, Completion Packers, Safety & Kelly Valves and Window Cutting Products. The company aims at bringing new technologies and solutions to the oil and gas industry. TIW is a customer centric company which ensures ensure professional, reliable and safe implementation of technologies.
The TIW XPak™ Expandable Liner Hanger System is designed to run with standard liner applications and incorporates industry-proven expandable technology to provide a liner top anchor/sealing device unmatched in the industry. The TIW XPak™ system is used anywhere a robust liner top seal is needed or where a slimhole design is required to mitigate ECD issues. The TIW system has been used on land and offshore around the world from the U.S. and Canada to the Middle East and North Sea.
The TIW® EJ-IB-TC Liner Hanger has an integral barrel with no internal thread connections for maximum pressure integrity. It is used to suspend a cemented or an uncemented liner off bottom. The EJ-IB-TC Liner Hanger has a staggered slip alignment which allows extra bypass and additional hanging capacity. The added bypass lessens pressure build-up during run-in and cementing, reducing the chance of damaging the pressure sensitive formations.
The TIW® IB-TC-R-RRP Hydro Hanger has an integral barrel for pressure integrity with special channels milled in the slip cones that provide maximum bypass for easier running. This feature combined with a patented twin seal journal bearing is designed specially to accommodate the rotation of liners and to improve displacement efficiency and cement bonding even in tight, eccentric holes. Shear pinned to prevent premature setting, the IB-TC-R-RRP Hydro Hanger is set by seating a ball in the PDC HS-SR Landing Collar and applying pressure through the setting string.
The TIW® IB-DD Hydro Hanger is an “Integral Barrel Drill Down” design, providing the operator the ability to rotate and/or reciprocate the liner to bottom without fear of premature setting of the hanger slips. Available in both single and tandem cone versions, the single cone design allows for maximum bypass for circulating while maintaining the ability to hang short to medium length liners. The tandem cone design allows for even greater bypass areas and is capable of hanging medium to long liners.
The LS-15 Liner Hanger System has been purpose-built for true drill-down applications. Operators in many areas of the world experience considerable difficulty with wellbore stability that may cause hole problems. The LS-15 Liner Hanger System is capable of accommodating, depending on the size requested, from 20,000 to 160,000 ft-lb of rotational torque through the tool, enabling the operator to rigorously “drill” the liner into the hole.
