TNGCL supplies Piped Natural Gas in and around city of Agartala which includes most parts of north and south side of Howrah river.

Natural gas is received from the GAIL's Maharajganj gas terminal at a pressure of 6 kg./Cm2.
TNGCL has well built infrastructure of 345 KM of HDPE/MDPE Gas Pipe Line Network to cater the domestic, commercial & industrial consumers.
A sole infrastructure of 4" NB MS Pipe Line of 1.9 KM to cater 10 (ten) industries at Bodhjungnagar Industrial Estate.
TNGCL has laid 5.1 km long steel pipeline from Khayerpur to Chandrapur which will bring more areas under PNG coverege.

CNG at Agartala

CNG is low in pollutants, high in calorific value & heat yield, very economical and safe to use as an automotive fuel.

Natural gas is received from the existing PNG network of TNGCL at a pressure of 4 Kg / cm2 and is compressed to 250 Kg / cm2 with the help of reciprocating Compressor installed at On-line CNG station at A.D.Nagar.

CNG is dispensed to vehicles at 200 Kg/cm2 pressure.
