Since its incorporation in 1984, Burkert USA (Burkert Contromatic Corp.) has been a process automation industry favorite for measurement and control systems of liquids and gases. Although the parent company, Christian Bürkert GmbH & Co. KG, has been around since 1946, the first USA based location opened in the City of Orange, just a few miles from the John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California. While Burkert USA still operates a facility in Southern California, the addition of a 173,000 square-foot building complex on a 98-acre campus in Huntersville, North Carolina opened in April of 2017, ushering in new system building and manufacturing capabilities in the United States to keep up with the increased market demand for Burkert solutions.
