The Completion Oil Tools Model “CT-JNC” liner hanger junk screen should be run as part of the setting tool assembly to prevent debris from damaging the polished bore Tieback Receptacle. It will also prevent debris from setting on top of the setting tool and ease of retrieval.

The Junk Cover is installed on the Lift Nipple. This Junk Cover and Lift Nipple assembly is run above a “RH” or HR Liner Setting Tool. The Junk Cover is designed to prevent solids from settling down on top of these liner setting tools. The Junk Cover also serves as a centralizer between the sleeve and these liner setting tools.
